MEETINGS OF MINDS

How are we using our minds? When all is said and done where and how will we have used our minds to serve humanity? To have loved one another truly? To have cared for the widow and the orphan? To relieve the mental pain and anguish so many among us are suffering? To create something really great?

Are we using our minds to ingest a lot of trivia, so that we end up knowing more and more about less and less? Are our senses feeding our minds so that we are attracted to discovering what is of value in, on, over and under our earth? Are we paying attention to what is of real value for us to spend time with, especially for the children in our lives? Are our minds being fed, drawing from what lies within us in our soul and spirit? Are we meditating on and contemplating the God who knows us well and is available to teach us, feed and nourish us?

Are our minds locked into neat compartments of things we consider and think about?
Are we living in those mental boxes where everything we know is laid out neatly and perhaps
permanently?

I wonder. So I'm asking people around me "what are you doing with your mind?" I get a lot of
different kinds of answers. So I'm wondering if you would like to post a comment? It can be anonymous or you can send me an e-mail. Are you wondering too?
